Long time, no see, everyone! This is Takahashi. This time I'm going to answer a question that many of you seem interested in: “When Inuyasha's clothes get ripped, how come they're back to normal the next week?” I think the Robe of the Fire Rat has magical power and is able to repair itself. They're yokai clothes. You may be thinking “Well, I coulda thought of that myself!” and you're right! However, if you'd like to know more about the secrets behind the Robe of the Fire Rat, please check out the second Inuyasha movie. It appears there as an important item. Don't miss it! Another question I see a lot is “What is Sesshomaru's Mokomoko?” (mokomoko: the fluffy fur wrap Sesshomaru wears – ed.) It think it's dog fur. When he is in dog form, it wraps around his body and connects to his tail. The theme I had in mind when I designed Sesshomaru was for him to be gorgeous, so I'm satisfied that adding the Mokomoko achieved that.

Another question is “Sesshomaru always says, ‘I'm going back, Jaken,' but where is he going back to?” That is a very difficult question! I often wonder that myself as I'm writing! Does he have a lair? It doesn't really seem that way. I think maybe he views anywhere that isn't a particular destination or place where trouble is occurring as somewhere to go back to. Maybe sometime his lair will show up in the story…but at the moment that appears unlikely.
