I don't why but I am ' just not feeling this series" .... Its up to Chapter 45 and NOTHING has happened... I remember in the Inuyasha manga series that things were rolling and going really good....this it's just dragging.. I'm still going to read it.. just cuz I love Rumiko Takahashi...but seriously...I wonder if she's running out of ideas...it's like the same story line kinda of like inuyasha..... something different....

Wow the new site is...different. But I'll admit that it's alot more fun to read more manga! I just love this site! I read RIN-NE every week! I can't wait for all the new relationships! I agree that all the characters from the previous Rumiko-creations look mostly alike but rin-ne and sakura's hair are definetly new!

What happened to the JPEG format a few issues ago? I used to be able to pull these from my Opera cache folder to bring home so the kids could read, but around issue 35 or 38 the JPEGs can no longer be opened. Anybody have any idea?!?

I just recently checked out the Rin-ne book a while back, and have gotten interested in the series so much. I love Tsubasa-kun. But kinda dissapointed that Sakura-san has feelings for Rin-ne. Anyways, I think think it's pronounced to how it's spelled. Rin-ne.Keep doing your best Takahashi-sama. Your manga is always the best. :)

Why did you change the website to this?! The old website was more suitable than this messy layout. I understand that you want to expose more of the Shonen Sunday manga to more people, but doing it like this? Not the best idea, having it the way before was easier on the eyes. I wish the online manga viewer had a next chapter feature on it. Its a real pain to go from full screen viewing all the way back to the series home page to open the next chapter. Also i liked the previous site better. This one doesn't even cover all of Rumiko Takahashi's work.

I've been reading this series as it comes out... but at the same time, this author has a very poor habit of ending without closure.

I hate open ended endings, and this will probably be no exception. It makes me wonder why I'm still reading it.

It's like Ranma 1/2 with all the crazy humor. Not as actionful or serious as Inuyasha (my favorite manga series ever.) I don't think I'm going to collect the series. I'm not a fan of humor manga - I like the series to be serious, and sometimes dark. (Which is why I'm a big Kaori Yuki fan.)

Chibi_Shumaya, if you have read a lot of books and read lots of stories, of course you can subconsciously predict, especially with this simple story, it's like saying the sun will set, we all now it will, cause there is no other way, otherwise it would be boring weird and does not feel right.
Chibi_Shumaya your like some little kid predicting the obvious, it might be cute if you are little, but if your over 6 it's annoying, if your over 13 it's embarrassing. Sorry but it's true.

I think I can guess what happens to Rinne's dad, he probably catches his sons cold ^^. You know sometimes, I don't know how but I can guess what happens in the manga n anime. Its so weird when i see Im right :D Maybe I have the ability to write manga in my blood. I would probably be inspired by Rumiko T. ^^ I love the new story Rinne and cannot wait for chapter 34 :)

For info, check the www.therumicworld.com blog which you can go to by looking at the top of your screen, the manga is taking a break from Weekly Shonen Suday in Japan, so there is currently no new chapter until Wednesday January 13, 2010. And for those who are wondering why chapters 3-8 are not here is because those were in Volume 1, which came out in America on October 2009, while 1-2 are still there are so people can preview it.

Hi you guys,
I just wanna tell if someone doesn't know about it: the next manga chapter will be up on 13th January due to the fact that even manga creators have to have some free time to sleep and eat, etc. :) There were no ShonenSunday magazines during this holiday so that's why, even if Rumiko wanted to, there wasn't released any Rin-ne chapter. Just a week left to wait....
BTW: I love Rin-ne's father!!!

i like this manga because it reminds me of my favorite and beast manga everrrrrrrrrrr INUYASHA!! Sakura looks like almost identical to her and inuyasha kindaaaaaa looks like rinne just a tad...but i really want their relationship to grow and be like Inuyasha and Kagome's maybe slightly more lovey dubby but you get the point! I have to say this is probably my third favourite manga ever (first being Ranma, but I mean...it's Ranma...and then there's Inuyasha). It's cool and funny and the character personalities are actually different than the ones from Inuyasha and Ranma! Rinne actually isn't a jerk and Sakura doesn't bash him up or yell SIT at him. She mixed a lot of common things (like a girl that can see ghosts and athis shinigami stuff) in such a strange environment that it makes this manga special.

I think this will be just as great as Rumiko's other works (currently watching Ranma and reading Maison Ikkoku). I don't agree on that if you read one of Takahashi's works you've read them all - at first I also thought that carachters are as the same as InuYasha (when I began reading Rin-ne I didn't know about her other works so I had nothing else to compare to) but in the meantime the whole manga has started to develop: not only new carachters but a new point of view has been created as well

This manga is Awesome! I love RIN-NE. it's one of Rumiko's best work yet. I hope the manga is going to be very long and that they make an anime about this!

it's not as good as inu-yasha and ranma 1/2 but it's still pretty good so far.(even though all i've read so far is the first 2 chapters.)and anyway's,it's not as good as some of her other manga's but it's still pretty good,so bye!

i know this is the creator of inuyasha, this manga dosnt look that instresting to me,by judging. and luigi is kind of a dumb nose freak! i mean, last night i asked for pizza and he said no get it your self then i said mushroom that then i got a pizza and threw it right at his big fat nose he cried then i said go to heck and he said its midnight mario im going to bed then i said ok see you in the morning .see you later

It's to bad they will not make a Shonen Sunday magazine in North America. But still, tell me what you think of the idea. They don't have to put in only one chapter of each manga ether. They can do what monthly Shonen Jump, put in two or three chapters of each manga. Or more even!

In a word, reverse-Bleach. But to elaborate, Rinne is more slice-of-life with ghosts than it is action or drama, & that is the most refreshing thing about it. I like how Sakura is thoughtful but not sugar sweet & Rokudo isn't a jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold. Their bond is weird, but also really geniune. The writing is still rough, but if you want to read something that not only explores the shinigami world in an unusal way but also occasionally pokes fun at it, give Rinne a try!

rumiko takahashi has been doin great wit diz manga so far but im hopin 4 sum momentz between rinne n sakura....im not askin 4 gushi gushi ew ew or nuthin i juzt think they shood have flirtin momentz, my opinion :)

I have to agree with the other posts that Rin-ne, Sakura, and the other characters look exactly like the ones from Inuyasha. But I also think that the characters from Inuyasha took a while to change into what we see now in Rin-ne. Depending on how long Rin-ne will be, and considering most of Rumiko's manga's are really long Rin-ne might be too, it will develop it's own style.
I love the story though, it's different, funny, and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

rinne looks like kagome with her hair down and inuyasha and da red haired dude have like da same face. same goes for tsubasa and miroku too. but anyways i love it! keep going and i hope dis is a long series :D

After over 50 volumes of Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashi starts fresh, and she hasnt lost the magic.
Reminds me more of Ranma than Inuyasha. I only read the first 3 chapters because I'm waiting out for the book format, but it looks great, love the humor.

I've always loved Takahashi's works but I can't help but feel the blaring things that are poking out. The main female character looks just like Kags, the male character is alot less gruff than Inu but is a cross breed, and the idea of another shinigami based storyline (After the overload of Bleach) just has an air of bandwagon hopping to it. I'm just getting to the point, especially after reading a few of these, that if you've read one Takahashi story you've read them all.

Well for me it's way too soon to compare this series with the other works of Takahashi-sensei, but I enjoy the storyline so far. It's not as serious as Inuyasha, but it's pretty funny & I'm looking forward for Rinne & Sakura's relationship to blossom. :)
